LBOE (Last Burger On Earth)

WORLD’S BEST BURGER!  Seriously...and I didn’t give them the designation.  LBOE won the 2017 World Food Championship Winning Burger, with The Benedict Burger.
The question I’ve been asked a lot lately: “What’s the best type of food do you like to eat in Memphis?” Everyone expects me to say BBQ, but honestly, the burgers in this town are INSANE! And of course, my first recommendation is LBOE.  By the way, LBOE stands for Last Burger On Earth.
Alright, enough opinion...let’s take a look at the World Championship Burger:
The Benedict Burger.
This one has a beef/pork sausage blended patty over arugula, topped with smoked Gouda, hardwood smoked bacon, a poached egg, Hollandaise, paprika and chives on a toasted brioche bun.  Of course, if the description doesn’t get you, take a look at the photo to the left!  The beef/pork sausage provides a great foundation of flavor, and once you add the poached egg and the hollandaise sauce...you have a magical combination of amazing-ness!

There are plenty of amazing burgers, but I’m going to keep it limited so you don’t have to read forever!
The next feature burger is LBOE, no not the restaurant...there's a burger called LBOE.
LBOE is made with an 8 oz. locally sourced ground beef patty, havarti cheese, roasted garlic cream cheese, hardwood smoked bacon, green chilis and corn chips!  By the way, I love corn chips so this one is perfect for me. The havarti cheese partnered with roasted garlic cream cheese provides an excellent flavoring to the beef, partner that with green chilis and of course those amazing corn chips...yea, it's the real deal!

Now let's take a look at The "Hasseltine"
The Hasseltine is an 8 oz. locally sourced ground beef patty, smoked cheddar, crisp hardwood smoked bacon, onion petals and BBQ sauce.  As you can see in the photo to the left, those are some BIG onion petals...might as well have been onion rings! Before I talk about the rest of this burger, let me just say the meat is excellent at LBOE. I order my burgers well done (judge me, I don't care...it's how I like beef), and they still have an amazing burger flavor that is the foundation of LBOE's menu.  Now, on to the smoked cheddar, BBQ sauce, bacon and those onion petals...so stinking good!

Now let's discuss the BURGER OF THE DAY!  I'm not going to lie, go to instagram and follow LBOE @lboeburgers.  Every day, they feature a burger of the day with a photo and description.  Here are a couple of examples of these burgers of the day.
Yea, I'm not sure what is in each of these, but every time I have the "burger of the day" it is amazing!

Oh, and the final burger I need to mention (I don't have a photo, so sorry).  The Patty Melt!  Of course it has the 8 oz. beef followed by white & yellow American cheeses, hardwood smoked bacon with lettuce, tomato, lettuce and dill pickle, nestled between two grilled cheese buns.  TWO GRILLED CHEESE TEXAS SANDWICHES are the BUN!  Sounds amazing...I've been told it is...I haven't actually had it...the Benedict Burger is typically my choice, unless the burger of the day catches my eye!

Alright people, enjoy LBOE!
